The Weston Echo was established in 2009 as a news portal for local businesses and the community in North Somerset including Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Portishead, Nailsea and districts.

The Echo is a not-for-profit online publication that exists to promote business and enterprise in North Somerset and tackle the issues that relate to the people who live, work and do business in the area. We are not connected with other news sites or linked with other newspapers. Our independence gives us the ability to raise the awareness of local business and the community across North Somerset without the restrictions associated with the traditional press.
